Sometimes we need a space to talk through how we truly feel. A space where we will not be judged or told what to do.
Many of us like to talk things through with our friends and family but find that we get offered advice and directed even though all we want is to be listened to. This is why therapy is good. It is a place to come and say how you really feel without being given any advice or told.. ‘well if I were you… I would….”. In all honesty I am NOT you and therefore you are the only person who knows inside how you feel. You are the expert on yourself. I can accompany you on your journey and try to spend my time working with you to understand how you actually feel. It is only when we recognise what is going on inside that we can move on in our life and ease the sometimes difficult relationships around us.
